Hi, I've just spent 5 days there on a riding holiday. It was brilliant, lovely horses and brilliant riding, loads and loads of forest tracks.

The tracks were fantastic. We had a map room to do and went out in groups. There were four in my group and a guide to help us out if we got lost, which we did more than once. I took the wrong turn out of the yard, so I think I need all the training I can get lol! Although we were the last group to leave we were the first back, so we could'nt have been that bad. We did no mountain riding but plenty of woodland and an awesome disused railway line, which provided a good gallop even though Solo decided he would not canter through puddles I decided he should so pushed him on and he almost jumped the whole thing. Landed with a bit of a splash and everyone laughing at me and my 'I don't do puddles cob'. The guide we had with us had a traditional trotting cob, he was fantastic. He managed to out trot my friends pacer mare!!

Thumper, yes I rode Sylvester a few times, I had a couple of lessons on him in the indoor (he didn't like the outdoor schools, very spooky!) and a couple of hacks, he was lovely, I really liked him. I also rode Blue (very lazy), Des (lovely) and had one lesson on a coloured cob called Lennox after swapping from Sylvester when he decided everything was going to eat him in the outdoor school, lol! OH rode Des and Mulligan and wanted to bring Mulligan home with him.

Just found this! I went on a riding holiday at Cimla a few years ago, I mostly rode Blue (lazy, but fab once you got him going, I loved him and wanted to take him home), Ffion, and Des (Blue's more forward going brother) I had a really good time on the riding holiday and deffo go again if I had the funds!
