Anybody doing this ?
There were 180 + riders last year, very popular ride hereabouts.
Two all weather gallops and a paddle in the river .
Fingers crossed that it's a sunny day.

Cradoc is a private estate, area called Sellack in Herefordshire.
Its not that far from the welsh border, Monmouth about fourteen miles away, Hereford about sixteen.

Weather held out, thanks, sunny with a bit of a cold sharp wind. Great ride with a record turnout of 249 riders, some travelling miles to attend.
Well organised, especially as they had to get the air ambulance for one lady whose horse fell on her, think she's ok, they stopped things for half an hour when that happened. Thank goodness for the air ambulance, always give a donation to that as you never know when you might need it.
Friends horse, youngster, on his first fun ride behaved very well but I shall have a lovely bruise on my leg from Mr 'I'm so excited that I can't wait for you to finish opening the gate' and bouncing thru' it so quick that I belted my leg on the gate post ....... ouch !
Plus my shoulders ache from all the 'wanna go now !' excited Arab bouncing. Fun day though and we did some good fast work on the gallops.
