Does anyone know of a really good saddle fitter in this area? I am particularly interested in a saddle company saddle. Any experiences good or bad would be welcome. Thanks L17 x

You could try Bob from Juddpurs saddlery in Beccles, he does travel quite a long way, i have always found him really good. The other person i was thinking of trying when i buy my boy a new saddle is Katie Eaton, from Ashen Equestrian centre, i haven't heard anything bad about her and my instructor swears by her.

Hi Nic, a friend of mine had a saddle company saddle and was really pleased with it, if you wring the headquarters in Birmingham or where ever they are they will give you the names of your nearest fitters. Can't remember the number but I presume its on the net like everthing else ha ha!

Cokey she kept that one quiet, i have been going there once a month for a year and she never mentioned it. Figures now !!!! Doh
Glad you got on well with Bob, Bliss, i have always found him very good and for some reason my horses all love him. One in particular wouldn't leave him alone it was very comical.

Bob Judd is very good, comes all the way up here!! Should be coming soon actually... He charges call out if you don't buy a saddle, but if you do he doesn't charge. He is very good, suggested a treeless for Deej (though there was no way anything else would fit!)

For fitting a Saddle Co saddle, I can't recommend Norm highly enough. He isn't based locally, but travels far and wide and he came out to me in Colchester in July. Spent a long time getting the saddle right, and only charged me about £30/£35.
Do you have a saddle that needs adjusting, or are you buying new? I have a lovely WH Saddle Co saddle if you are interested?
The only other person I really recommend is Russell from Ingatestone Saddlery.

No probs. Not sure which area you are in, but I really don't recommend the Saddle Co fitter who is based in Essex. Can't remember her name, but she wanted to charge over the odds for a new saddle, and wouldn't refit a second hand one.
