Shopping was better at the Northern one than the Bath and West one, which really was terrible.TRouble is, I think people expect them to be on the scale of YHL, which they couldnt be. Its a shame as the organisers put a lot of effort into it and the stands are not that expensive, nothing like YHL, anyway! Pity more traders dont support the fairs.

It is a shame, Heather. The Wesr Country fairs were much better a few years ago and were bigger, covering more space. I wanted to see two traders at Exeter and neither were there The event was well attended by the public but the traders were definitely down in numbers. Fortunately, as I was helping Joanna and Roger Day on their trade stand, I got a free pass

It is a shame, when I went three years ago to the even at the Bath & West they trade stands took up two massive halls and the hall where the exhibition arena was this year used to only be taken up by the exhibition arena and grandstand seating. Very sad to see.
