["my that yorkshire air has made him fill out i cant believe the difference in only 3months!!!"] Now I know why I'm the size I am then, it's because I'm a Yorkshire born lass! ;D Glad to hear Bailey is doing so well and is back home with you, hope you both get on well. Not sure if the fattening farms actually put the Mares in foal purposefully or if they just don't care one way or another. So just put Stallions in with the Mares in the fields and if they catch prior to going to slaughter then it's a bonus for the farmer as they will obviously weigh more!! I know all these pregnancies are going to make life more difficult for the ones that rescued these pregnant Mares and I just want to wish everyone Good luck.

Yes, on Opa and Pimba yesterday. Nigel said "is the horse supposed to move too?" ;D
Pimba said colt, Opa said nothing, but I need to get her checked out, I'm a bit concerned that if she isn't in foal she may have something amiss.

Oh well, at least you know for sure. You really are going to busy sarah, just console yourself that this is another foal that would never otherwise be born that now will have a life ahead of it.

agree with sarah about the blind stupidity and optimism. how these girls got pregnant we will never know, I dont think any of us thought that they would all be in foal, but they are and maybe the only way is to look at an opportunity to put something right in their lives.one thing is certain they wont be having anymore! keeping bambu well away!
