tia, just an idea try contacting Global Hebrs they have great supplements for the immune system even though it has gone it might give her a needed boost they seem to work great i always use there products, they also have a great thing called restore, if you give them a call you can tell them all about her and there are vets working there who will advise you, Good luck with everything there looking great.

Thanks debutante, I will contact them, I think a boost would do her good.. I'm getting the vet out tomorrow as its back again and in full force, I've never seen so much snot out of an animal before, the ground was covered outside her stable door this morning, the vet had asked me to wait a couple of weeks, but I just dont want to so I'm gonna get him out in the morning or Tues morning at the latest, I'll update soon..

Thanks Sarah I pm'd iwillbuy and she said she can maybe get it for me, so thats great, I just wanna give her what she need, clearly her immune system isnt very strong, poor girl.. I've just spent hours with them both, they have had their mains done and groomed loads, they look lovely, I took some photos with my camera and while doing that it broke!!! so I'll get another sorted asap and take some more, or hubby may be able to fix this one.. Rose has decided she HATES Rory next door to her, poor Rory such a quiet big cob and hasnt had it easy, Rose trys to kill him when he pops his big soppy head over for a kiss.. little weak Rose no more!! she is very capable now!! had my sister up tonight who loves them both and has now said she will come up and see them as much as poss!! great another helper!

I completely agree with you, she definitely is Norty!!! Poor Rory when I'm in that stable with her I'm praying he doesnt put his big face over cause shes goes at him like a killer, this morning I was finishing up with her main and he had a little look over and she turned on him ears back and tried to rear up at him, but could only got as far as the ceiling would allow her!! but she is still very very good and I find her no probs to handle, I mean, she is like a normal 2 year old but still a very good one at that, (as long as rory isnt looking at her!! hehe) oh and she seems to be quite fustrated when I spend time with Tila, last night I was with Tila for about an hour grooming and just talking to her, Rose couldnt settle, she paced around her stable and kept putting her head over the wall, when I went in to do her she just stood there like a baby, she likes the attention and is finally learning that biting me isnt a good idea!! phewww.. camera is def broke, so I'm gonna have scout around to see if I can borrow one for later. I brought her main up to the shorter bit she had in it already, then I'll let it grow down again.... mmmm I'm rambling now... update later... xx

Hi again!
Well I had the vet out with Tila this morning and it looks like she has COPD.. poor girl, makes sense now! when she came in at night she was better than in the morning! so she has had cort injection and a new course of antis, and already she hasnt coughed, we emptied all the shavings out of her stable today (took all day nearly, there was quite a bit) and cleaned it all out and put new rubber mats in, our haylage is fine vet checked it and thats about it, so poor girl just needs to be managed well.. Rose is fine she had her second set of injections today and was very good. she is putting on weight and very much unrescued now, just like a normal little 2 year old, very cheeky indeed!! she is very protective of me when I'm grooming her, if Rory (her next door neighbour, big gentle cob) pokes his head over, she attacks him, ears back and trys to lift up at him.. poor boy he only wants a kiss.. but she is doing very well, and Tila will get better very quickly now, I just know it.. I will update with more pics in a couple of days when my new camera arrives!!

Hiya!
Just thought I post some pics, trying to get used to my new camera!! getting there!! Rose is doing well as you can see, she is eating well and still very cheeky but cute.. Not sure if I already posted this but Tila has COPD and is now much better after her shaving being removed and replaced with rubber mats, her nose has nearly cleared up completely, and she hasnt coughed in a couple of days, fingers crossed for that.. they have had their mains trimmed and havent really finished yet so excuse the untidyness of them, and getting there tails done later. The vet is coming back out on Monday to check Tila again, shes on a course of antibiotics at the minute so that should help.
