Hi guys just an update on the girls, Tila is doing well, she has still got a very runny nose and a bad cough, although the cough is mainly in the morning and after she has had a canter around the field!! but I love her with all my heart and I want this old girl to make a full recovery so I can give her a comfortable retirement and plenty of tlc.. she is sooo sweet and I trust her 100% but it will take longer for her to trust people I think, shes getting there though and starting to recognise me in the morning when I go up to turn them out...
Rose is doing very well, she is fantastic and very quick to learn, she is very trusting too.. we are working with rugs and feet right now and just taking are time with that, I brought her for a walk around the sand paddock and past lots of new scary things, she was very good, and braved everything including tractors, coloured poles etc, I will start doing some ground work with her but at a very slow pace, at the minute I'm constrating on her feet and a rug, with our weather I need to!! She is having her main sorted tonight so I'll take some more pics tomorrow and post them on here.. she is still getting quite cheeky and likes to give her mum a bite on the ass when I'm bent over at her feet!! lol... so I need eyes on the back of my head at the min.... fingers crossed she is going to be a healthy young horse very soon!! they both enjoy there beds, Rose had shavings in her eyelashes, ears everywhere this morning, she must bury herself in her bed at night!! xx

more photos please tia the all my customers are in love with these two and been following their progress right from the beginning re runny nose otter has always had a runny nose, he has been endoscoped and loads of test and nothing has ever been found i think it is a sight reaction to hay and believe it or not when the weather changes i feed the hay from the floor and it helps it run out rather than run back in ;D

Now come one Tia you have duplicate horses they are not the same ones :¬)
They look so much different than they did a few weeks ago. Well done. I think rose is going to be a cracker when she is 100% and tila looks much much better too, nice shine on their coats.

Thanks everyone, Sarah she has been giving me her feet with no probs, I've just been getting her to hold them up for a bit longer each time and also getting hubby to do it too, so shes used to men!! also with the rug, we are moving on to a light rug now, at first I just rubbed her all over with one, then after allowing her loads of time to smell it etc I slipped it over her back with no probs, so far so good, I think the no rush pace works great with her.. and thanks for the advice on the runny nose, we actually no what is wrong with her, it was diagnosed over in Sarahs (i cant spelt the words so I'm not going to attempt it) but its not good and her immune system may not be strong enough to completely get rid of it, she has had medication for it and we think its just taking time to work out of her, I'm hoping it will start to dye down now, its been quite runny some days and then others its not to bad! I really hope it clears up soon for her, I'm having to be very careful with her stable buckets etc, there having to be cleaned really well every day... poor girl!! I wanna wait a day or two before putting up new pics, the first ones were just rushed and I want some really good ones of her when shes had a good groom and a new hair doo!!

It was thick yellow before she started her antibiotics, tia,I just wonder if she will need some more and some more sputolosin to clear it now,I can only think that it was the long trip that has brought it back. See what your vet thinks tomorrow.

yep I totally agree and yes I think the trip really did bring this on, the poor girl used everything she had to bring her and Rose over here, I'll ring him in the morning.... glad to know that it was thick yellow at the start, it makes more sense that it has came back with journey. x

Just an update, Tilas nose has completely stopped!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeahhhhh, I dont know if will come back or not but it seems to have cleared away, so fingers crossed.... and Rose is so keen to see me in the field (or anyone) she canters over and puts the brakes on at the last minute, I have come to realise that if I just stand still...she does stop and usually right infront of my nose.. hehe
