If you search through Google for DG Rescue Horses, most of the national papers will have statistics showing which subjects are most searched for. Anything that's new or hot that they don't already know about is likely to be picked up and turned into a story .... Get hitting those search buttons, guys!!  |

has anyone managed to do anything?
i have just spoken to Kristina Cook (previous Gifford) 3 day event rider and she is very happy to give her support and we can use her name for mags and papers etc, she is more than happy to have pics taken too if it helps. i guess the more famous people we can get involved will help. she also supports ilph.

How about contacting Viva? They have done work in export of horses (for meat) from Poland to Italy. They did a huge campaign and have seen progress. I think we all remember the little grey pony from their campaign www.viva.org.uk/campaigns/horses/index.htm |

I hope Viva will cover this as I have just read the article they did on the Horses/Ponies from Poland and saw the pictures! Oh My God!!!!!!!!! I am so glad I have saved Lancia from that sort of journey and others have saved some other poor creatures from this. Lets hope we can get more publicity and get this sort of thing STOPPED, Especially as there are local abbatoirs!
