I am totally devastated. I fear that these have been moved elsewhere, rather than killed. Somehow, for them to be alive is worse than being dead, in the hands of people like that.
Elaine, could you let your friend know that she may get a phone call from Alain? Let him know the situation, incase he doesn't pick up my second email before calling her.
Thanks.

Because it costs money to have the animal put down and because they can leave it in a field to die for FREE and nobody here will do a thing about it. I don't like making generalisations, because there are always exceptions, but the level of indifference to animal suffering here is sickening sometimes.

www.chem.frthey seem to be fighting such fights and some - few I grant you - owners have been taken to court if you look at the website, some pages show similar or worse pictures. sorry. I'm just glad to say that there are people here who are not turning a blind eye and are fighting to stop this

I feel physically sick looking at those pictures, that poor innocent animal. How can people live with themselves letting an animal suffer in that way? Surely the farmer had a gun? it would have been better than what they put him through. God, I hope and pray he is now at peace and I hope the B******s that did it rot in hell for what they do.

Erm! Malaga would like to point out that the poor donkey is a mule Could this be posted on the General horse talk as well or at least a link to it just in case no one on there has noticed it.

CHEM do a wonderful job with precious little in the way of laws to back them up. I mentioned CHEM on another website, the average compensation CHEM received for some of those appalling cases was 1 euro 1 bl**dy euro! sickening. If you can bear to look go look on the chem website...

This is absolutley shocking! im mean what can you say when you see something like that other than get angrey with the cold heatless people that know the poor thing is actually in that state. I know i tell you ive read that so many people have wrote comments about these animals still being so trusting and loyal after all this treatment they have had it just shows they are truly amazing creatures and we are so lucky to be involved with the ones we may already own and the ones we are trying to help.
