for ones without papers, chipping adn ID by vet, takes no time if there is a vet prepared to go and do it at such short notice David from wofford found one within an hour on friday - yes, another do what they say and more :-)

If someone can get her paid for, it will stop her going on the meat lorry and the seller will hold her. You might need to double-check this with one of the French members.
You can then wait for the next time Woffords go there.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THIS HAPPENS TODAY, AS THE OWNER WILL NEED TO BE PHONED AS THE WAGON MAY GO EARLY.
TRY THIS LADY: SLESCALIER@AOL.COM

Next Lorry leaving for france tomorrow (06 August 07) lunch-evening lorry goes out, can pick up and put horses in emergency stabling until thursday. £20per night, or pick up on thursday on way home to UK and are delivering out to homes homes friday. out of office hours call chris on his mobile to get horse on lorry urgently. 0044 (0) 780 303 7792 £300 back to uk (Wiltshire) www.wiht.co.uk

can we bare in mind, 2 people have offer to pay the £300 to wiltshire, who ever buys the horse will then need to get her from there to their own place. either by seperate negotiation with woffords or can go collect themselfs. Plus ID vet fee to sort horse out ready for bringing over. ALLOW APROX £100 for that.
Horse £719 transport to wiltshire £300 ID by vet £100 aprox
If we get a definate by tonight, someone from the French side will call the dealer and the dealer will hold the mare, so there is no need for temp stabling and transport will collect her from dealers yard on thursday on the way back to the UK
