The forum is here: nouvelle-vie.ephpbb.com/index.htm
Would someone be able to add those horses from the French forum onto that new website someone created for the ones needing to be rescued? There are quite a lot, i just added this mare because she looked so sorrowful.

Hi Teresa
600.00 EUR = 403.577 GBP
Then you have to pay a transport company to bring her.
You could ring a transport agent and explain the situation to them and ask them that if you give them the money for the mare awell as the travel, that they would pay for her on your behalf.
These prices were based on France to North Notts for MARE AND FOAL:
ECS transport. They quoted £675 inc vat for a mare and foal, so I would imagine it is less with one horse. ECS (0)1608 683911 www.ecshorsetransport.com/
Gordon Hamilton charges £450 (no vat). He speaks fluent French and can arrange the payment. I don't think he is going out to France for a couple of weeks though. 07769 910992 I have used him before to bring a mare from France (not a rescue) and she arrived fresh and well. Others have found that he delivers late at night, so you have to be very specific with him.
Woffords quoted £850 from France to the to the midlands on their special rate for rescues. They quote £300 + vat from France to Wiltshire and you collect.
John Parker quoted £675 + vat for mare and foal on a shared load, again it will be cheaper with one horse.
International Horse Transport Tel: 01476 870177 / 07710 016019 Based Notts/Lincs. Regular journeys Europe, specialising France, Spain and Portugal. All documentation arranged. DEFRA approved. 600+ vat Check when he is in france next.
Remember that if you choose one of these, you need to make sure that they are willing to pay for the mare aswell and make contact on your behalf. If they go to France often, they must have contacts.
good luck.

good luck. hi, just to make you aware that Woffords charge in this circumstance (mare and foal) £450 + VAT Fom France To their base in Essex. For a single horse/pony/donkey. £300 + VAT. I can confirm that these are the prices set by woffords if picking up on the way back to the UK. Woffords also have a Enterpretuer so there is no language barriers. Thanks, Lisa Carrera x

Hi,my transporter would be able to go again if we could all get together to bring a minimum of 4 ,preferably more, horses back.the prices always depend on the route she can make, but it was about £500 to the midlands and £550 to yorkshire, but as I say it depends on the route and how many are going where. It would have to be organised through me though unfortunately as she doesnt do shared loads involving lots of people. DO BE VERY CAREFUL when using the big companies that do frequent shared load trips to europe, the only way that they can keep their prices down is to work the routes economically.Sometimes this is ok,but sometimes your horse can be in transit for days ( 7 days to bring my spanish boy home!)Their care and expertise is usually excellent so not a big problem with a fit horse, however some of these horses ( especially the trotters) are in a very poor state and wouldnt cope well with that kind of journey.Whoever you decide to use, make sure you know their journey times first.

Hi
The prices I was quoted were from France to Nottinghamshire.
I have imported three horses before and not one was left in transit. I am shocked about this, but do not know the circumstances of your horse.
I think that if someone could hire a lorry, go to France and pay for all the horses in cash (technically theirs till they are "sold" to owner on delivery)and bring them back it would be cheaper than using a transport agent. More horses could be saved if transport was cheaper. I think that's what putting people off.
All the agents I quoted speak French.
