Just a little update on how Honey is getting on as Suzie hasn't had a chance to come online! Honey is a very affectionate pony, she always comes down to the gate to say hello! She has lots of scars on her body/legs but none to bad and all healed fine, she had lice has quite sore weepy eyes that are now improving, she has seen the vet for a check etc but appears fine she did have dischage from her back end but has now stopped, there is a chance she is pregnant for next year but if she is she's not far along! her coat is improving already she loves to have a groom. she was a little wary at first but we can pick her feet up etc. so anyway here are some pics And Suzie will be back online to update soon ;D

When Lafun was dropped off to me Honey was the next drop off so I got to see her, she was so sweet, she was stamping her feet as if to say let me out!
She looks great in the pics, thank you for the update.

She's such a sweet pony she'll follow us around the field no probs we all absolutely adore her. Honey is getting really good about having her feet picked up still a little reluctant with backs but getting there ;D got the EDT coming out for our horses next week, so hopefully we can get honey's teeth sorted too, they really need doing!...do you think it would be best to have her sedated or see how she goes?

Thanks!
She is lovely!! A really friendly little person and loves to come and catch you! She seems to be enjoying all the attention but isn't much into leading, it could be the heat and pushing her luck but hopefully we'll have this little glitch sorted out soon. Her belly is still enormous, doesn't look too bad in the pics but she is bony, her back bone prominennt with this enormous belly, the reason the vet did a rectal as she seemed very unevenly covered, he thought she had a full bladder (she is still drinking alot!) but there obviously is a chance she could be in foal so he'll check again in few weeks when he comes to see Perdy

Oh yes... they keep asking about her history though and why she needed a home so today I told them that she was going for meat and they were devestated, got lots of lovely cuddles lucky ponio! She had a trim today too so really chuffed, she has quite a bit of flare on the backs but my farrier did only a very basic trim, keep it simple and friendly and she went back out to the field very calm...great!

Hi,
Honey saw the EDT today, its quite handy her timing as she is fitting in with all my regular visits! She was a really good girl, she didn't like the gag but she had some really sharp points and sores on her cheeks so we really needed to get to the back. She had a bit of a run backwards duck about and decided it wasn't to bad, stood then but at the polish decided she'd have a little run about again but she never raised a leg to kick or looked threatening she just didn't understand what was happening bless her. EDT thought she might be older than 8 due to the wear patterns but she has short sraight teeth, he did say that 8 might be right if what she had grazed was corse and sandy? Anyone else anythoughts?
On the way back out to the field I asked her to trot and as we went past the show jumps thought 'what the hell' so over I popped with a happy little pone following after, she didn't over jump just right and headed for the next one which we did and turned her out! I love this pone shes a real honey!

god,I dont know theres you with edts and preparing for hoys, and I cant even get a headcollar on yet!! Re her teeth,it probably depends whether she has come up from spain, the grazing would be coarse and a lot of sandy areas there, dont know about france, maybe lucy will know more.

;D Part of me feels so sad when I look at her because she's been loved, she's been someones special pony and I can't think how she could have ended up where she was going. I keep looking for something wrong with her but so far nothing has presented itself, vet thought she was fine sound in wind and limb, farrier said basically strong feet and the EDT has smoothed her teeth. I need to get in contact with chiro, as porky needs a bit of work! The leading seems to have clicked in the last 2 days (still time for it to go wrong again!) and I think I might try longlining her next week and I need more worming advice as I thought she'd have passed something by now! She also looks like shes coming into season which I feel a bit relieved about after percheron stallion nightmares!
