Thats great! Is she setteled? I can't believe how resiliant ponies really are and how readily they come round to kindness and gentle handling, Honey's well and truely moved in!

Looking at her photos there, I'd say there would be a good chance that she has some Breton blood in her!! She looks so sweet! Are you able to get her tested to see if she's in foal?

bertie - thats the next option now I suppose. I was reluctant to do too much before she's had a chance to settle in, poor thing spent 16 hours on the lorry coming over so i thought it only fair to give her some down time first. Am going to have a chat with the vet.

Do either you or I ever sleep? Its difficult when they're fat, people can't understand why they're a rescue, ' but surely rescues are skinny and malnurished?' telling them about the italians eating in-foal mares usually does the trick! She's really chilling now and settling in well.

I Know! I was expecting her to jump up but she was quite happy to lie there catching some ZZZ's.

She is so lovely and looks like she has settled in really well, especially as she is laying down when you're there with a camera!

She is really lovely looking, its so nice when they trust you enough to stay down with you around. She looks so much better than that scared pony I saw on the lorry!
