Her belly definately looks lower to me. That would be a wonderful pressie for you a little baby!! How did Elphin get on with her scan? Hope all is well. love Rxxx

Well the little monkey with her belly down to her knees practically, decided to jump the electric fence for better grass! Didn't actually see her but fortunately the leccy fence is in tact! She is so rotund now she MUST be having a foal (very lop sided too)

Well still no sign of a baby but boy she is a grumpy bad tempered mare at the moment. Comes at you with her ears flat back and a couple of times has raised her leg to me as well. I hope it's just cos she's so uncomfortable and not her true colours coming out.

well she does look really overdue, dizzy,if welshcobs mare has foaled now I wouldnt think she is far behind, many mares get grumpy and insist on their own space when due to foal as you know, hmmmm, bet it wont be long before she gives you a pressie!

Oh Sarah, I so hope you are right as it is agony waiting! I also don't like this change in temperament much, she was sucha loveable lass when she arrived. I'm sure she'll be ok, time will tell. Kizzy was the opposite just before she foaled, she wanted to be in my pocket! LOL

Sounds like something is imminent - have you seen any movements? Can't imagine she would just change and be horrible - she doesn't look that type at all...

ours did reach the stage ( a brief period) where they felt brave enough to tell me to get lost for a while before they actually developed trust, but I wouldnt think that is whats happening here, you seem to be much further forward in the trust stakes,I would just keep as low a profile as possible with her and see what transpires over the next few days, dizzy,I think it could be a wee foalie...

No, never seen or felt any movement. I did think she was probably testing us now. She's munching away as ever this morning LOL!

oh good luck with her I'm sure this must be down to hormones!! I knew a really quiet kind mare who changed completely during pregnancy and then back to normal after birth..
