day 2!
Quitus is a real big softy.......he is 16.3hh but i think he will grow more! hes only just three.
Hes such a clown, first day he got in his stable , we have automatic water trays in the stable, he didnt see it and headbutted it then walked around as if to say 'DOH'. I walked him out in hand, and on return he tripped over a tiny stone and then nearly fell over in his stable, his legs split apart looking like a giraffe LOL now he takes it slow and careful.
He has really long legs and to me he seems really weak, but that will change!
I put him in the sand school for two hrs yesterday and he spent the whole time talking to the bay in the corner.............HIMSELF! we have a mirror there.
Hes so soft and gentle and he adores being groomed. I brushed him yesterday and he was grooming me back really carefully. Poor boy is covered in scars and cuts.
He was great with the farrier, didnt bat an eyelash..............hes very nervous and hunches his back up, his tail under him at the slightest thing, but hes coming round.
vet is coming for check up on monday

LOL nope its a livery yard, and the pics dont really show how ribby he is....its heartbreaking really when you brush him, but hes got a good framework and is eating 5 small feeds a day at the moment, he'll soon have a nice covering of fat.
