Thank you so much for the nice comments about Tobago! Are there many Arab-lovers on here? I was a bit wary of joining, but this seems like a very friendly forum. ;D

There are a fair few Arab lovers on here I think I'm sure I've seen pics of Tobago too, so I'm now going to have to go and check! I like Mark Gamlin's showing style, he is one of those who seems relaxed with his horses and they don't look terrified of him. And there's nothing better than seeing an Arab show off naturally - they don't need to be made to do it ( having said that trying to get mine to move probably would involve bags and noises but that's because they are basically idle ). Good luck next week, wish I was coming to the Arab show but I don't think I can make it

As most are saying it is good manners to keep quiet, rather than make such noises. But as Kas says this is so typical of many arab stud/training/showing yards. The things that go on are appauling. I doubt it will ever stop. As more kinder handlers should just feel pride in not acting in such a manner. Its a good idea to go to somewhere like this & tape the noises. You can play the tape to your horses in its stable, to get it use to such things.
