Thank you all so much for the suggestions and support. I was suposed to go riding again today but couldnt face it, am still sore across my shoulders though my hip has been behaving itself (thank god, I looke stupid limping and hobbling about with my teeth gritted insisting Im fine!)
I am very tempted to get someone out to look at my pony, even if just to say shes fine, I found out today saddle hasnt been restuffed for 2 years (ARGH!) so its going to be restuffed and he will come out and check it on her again (still fits a whole lot better than the other one grr)
Someone has VERY kindly offered to let me borrow a HM seatsaver and I am really looking forward to it arriving (how sad am I lol) if it works out ok I shall be swapping some robinsons vouchers for someone elses.
What I need to do myself is loose some weight (slaps wrist) and get to see someone, cant afford physio treatments at the mo and although im insured Im not covered for things to do with...well anything lol, so no cover for any treatment involving my back hips, right knee or ankle or my right elbow (this is the side that hit the car and the concrete)
since yesterday I am pretty much constantly collapsing my right hand side (lower right shoulder, twisted slightly to right, collapsing right hip) have been doing posture work today but if I forget myself for a second im twisting, says to me ive tweeked something and my body is NOT happy.
with regards bowen, can the same person do people and horses? (I assume so?)
Centered riding stuff sounds great and a good way to go as I dont have an alexander tecnique person come out anymore which probably isnt clever but I had so few problems I thought (stupidly) it was sorted. I will be in touch!
Now, referals for MRI, now that would be interesting, the NHS dont like me, think they think ive had my moneys worth already lol.
I need to go to doctor and pick up pain killers for emergancies (hate having to just lie on the floor so I dont FALL on the floor) and see if I can get some treatment on NHS (harharhar)
I have a shoulder/upperback support with magnets in that I wear at the yard all the time, I usually have it on for 6/7 hours a day, have found it helps and its helped today definately.
Another thing I thought of is that I was taking homeopathic remedies related to my injuries (helping with soft tissue trauma etc) I havent taken any for a while now due to the person I got them from stopping work for some time, may be worth going knocking on her door to se if she could help too.
Im also sleeping on an air mattress in my new house, whereas before I had one of those foam (like tempur mattress) toppers and pillows (still have the pillow!) this may als not be helping!
I also went jumping a few days ago....perhaps I tweeked something then (was jumping up to 1.40m on strange horse) maybe horse wasnt quite straight r something and thats thrown me out and since Ive thrown my mare out and its a vicious circle resulting in my pain??
Hate that I dont want to ride, just starting to really enjoy going out riding again, also feel guilty as I bet my mares few strides with her bum sticking to one side was her saying 'Errrr mummmmmmmm' and ive probably made her twist after I spent three years getting her straight arghhhhhhhh
How depressing just before Christmas
