Please does anyone know how to convert grams to mls? I had some MSM delivered today and the tub didn't have a measuring scoop in it..they show the dosage in grams but the only spare supplement scoops I have are in mls. Thanks

you cant convert grams (a weight measurement) to millilitres (a volume measurement)
You'd have to weight a spoonful - and work it out from there

For example, a gram of feathers would occupy many more mls than a gram of lead. All you can do is weigh out a gram of whatever it is you are measuring and work out how many scoops it is.

not strictly true - if you know the density of the item then you can convert grams to ml.

Thats why I said - you'd have to weigh a quantity (which is practical) - would give the same answer as knowing the density (which is unlikely to be available).

The best thing is to fill your spoon with MSM and then weigh it to know for sure. That's how I know that my 2 litres feed scoop weighs 800 grams.

The farmer/yard owner likes to calculate density and I just don't get it. Unless you're good at maths it's rather complicated.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't have scales or I would have weighed it. I'd hoped someone on here was feeding MSM and would know the conversion. I managed to speak to the company who told me 20grams is equivilent to 25 mls if anyone else needs the info. Gloucasamine weighs 25grams to 25mls if people need to know that as well :-)
