The first time he'd ever been jumped! Or ridden in an English saddle

have no idea how you could trace his breeding, any ideas? No idea, not unless you can trace previous owners, though coming from a dealers yard, doubt they'd want to help anyway, such a shame, he's gorgeous ;D

I was going to put my mare to a mitcheltroy stallion a couple of years ago, he was absolutely stunning, but sadly after loads of checks with the vet she proved to be unable to carry a foal even if she did manage to catch. Quite a shame really, but ended up with Seren instead so all's well that ends well

she had a foal many many years ago apparently, and has been barren since. apparently her cervix isn't opening properly and her womb doesn't drain. they took her in and cleaned her out after scanning her and seeing fluid in her womb. She stayed in for a week while they flushed her out and cleaned her out, apparently she had a massive infection as well :-( anyway, her womb started filling up again so they said she would never carry a foal full term.
They also said she had quite severe scarring around her cervix etc which was stopping it opening properly and the vet did say that it was unlikely that a stallion would even be able to penetrate her and artificial insemination would be the way to go forward, but he advised against it as he didn't think she would be able to carry the foal. :-( sad realy as she is a fantastic mare and it would have been lovely to have a baby jess for when she retires. still, I have seren now

I did once--Hengwym Heroic. He was very black and very beautiful.
I have never been so glad to sell on a horse in all of my life. Didn't get on with him at all. Give me a nice thoroughbred anyday.

Regal, sounds like I have a Brannock double out there! He was bred near Southampton so has never seen Wales. He's with me for life and is very special! We plan on having lots of fun. There seems to be a few Derwen lines on here, Brannock is from Nebo lines. Don't suppose anyone has heard of the stallion Osbourn Dimod (or any of the Osbourn horses)? This was his sire..think he's down in Southampton somewhere.
