good lord!! said 'schoolmaster' must muck itself out/feed itself/ arrange vet visits, farrier, worming programme and make cups of tea for that! lucky girl. probably won't appreciate it anyway once novelty's worn of ...............tttttsssssssskkk
"Just a horse" is the very thing that keeps me from being "just a person."
Not that I'm being cynical or anything, but if the poor horse is that well trained then it sounds like an utter machine to me, poor thing. I wonder what it thinks about, or if it has any opinions? I might have the wrong end of the stick about schoolmasters, of course, but I still can't help thinking that the silly woman would learn more if she took on a good natured but opinionated cob (or quarter horse, cough cough) that would make her work to earn its respect. Mine cost me 2.5k, he's taught me more in four months than I've learned in my entire life and I wouldn't sell him for any money.
well I expect it was picked with her in mind, sounds like she has an experianced friend to help her and I bet it will go to a ritzy full livery. Although I hate to think what she bought for that much! she could have found a nice safe been there done that cob with winnings for 5k! and then got a sporty horse.
Im with smudge, Id far rather have my 2k ex racer non schoolmaster and loan ex eventer. (Ill bet Collen's new horse doesnt sit on cars or let itself out the stable!! ) and you couldnt pay me enough to sleep with Wayne rooney!! (well maybe a few million)

lol Smudge!! I agree with Finn. I used to ride a 14.2hh bomp-proof mare. She was absolutely fantastic and really looked after me, but it has only been since buying my 16hh TB ex-racer that I have really learnt to ride, and i have become a much better rider.
I imagine it will be well looked after though so good luck to them.
It is OTT a nice fat hairy cob would do LOL esp considering she's just started riding but if you've got the money..
Wonder if it'll turn into another Madonna incident what happened to the horse she fell off? is slightly worrying to think how these amazing horses end up, it's no different than say me buying a 16hh fancy Arab after a 2 year break from riding and failing LOL (would never happen! love my cobs!)
