Pleaseoes any one have information about the bumpers you can put inside trailers. Are they to support the horse in travel? Our new horse has problems when we go round lefthand corners and we wondered if they would help/ Also does anyone know what they are called.

If your horse has trouble when going round corners try giving him MORE room, it often means that they cannot spread their legs wide enough to balance. The partician (Can't spell) is not to hold the horse up, but just to prevent two horses stepping on each other or kicking. Also make sure that he has firm footing, rubber that he can grip on, or if it is a wooden floor then some slightly used straw bedding that will not slip around.
I had a converted pony trailer and travelled my horse without a partician and she always stood cross-ways with her head in one corner and her quarters in the opposite corner. Now I have another trailer and have an adjustable partician and always give my horse as much room as possible. I would take out the partician completeley, except I find that it is handy to put things in when travelling to shows as I haven't much space in my towing vehicle.

Thanks for that. We only picked him up today and he has nearly always travelled in a lorry. My next step was to take out the partition and see if he is happier cos i cant afford to buy him a lorry! Has anyone else had this problem?

Just a question - does he have any discomfort in his left leg? OH's old boy has arthritis in hock (Right) and has problems turning right as he doesn't like to put all his weight on it to balance.
