Hi, my story, sure I've mentioned it??? Anyway, I rode when i was 5 and gave up when i was 6 thinking that all riding was about was being led around a school in walk and occasional trot for half an hour. Then my mum divorced my dad and remarried and I started riding again at 10 years old. Worst mistake mum ever made, so she said. NOT! She was half joking! Cos when I was 15 she gave up on the please thing and bought me a horse of my own. 16h tb x. Sadly when I was 16 he was sold on as a retirment horse at 13 years old due to a bad back. So I carried on at riding schools and going on riding holidays. Then 1 year ago nearly met Daisy a pretty wonderful cob that I ride whenever I want to and treat as my own but knowing she is'nt but feels the next best thing. I am now 30 coming up for 31 yrs old on the 20th. ( So that is where I am now. Still hopeing to get my own one day in the not too far distant future. ) Melissa1787

Saved up and bought my first horse at 16 and kept him till the day he died, aged 27 , 17 years later.I'd been begging my parents for a pony since just about when I learnt to talk ;my best present on my 12th birthday was my Dad telling me if I could save up to buy a horse then I would be allowed to and he would help with the 'running costs'. Course he never thought I would .....but I did and he changed my world forever !

I was 19, I'd been working full time for a year and saved every penny I could out of my pitiful salary until I could just about afford to buy my lovely Coco. Had him for 13 years until he had to be pts due to cancer at the age of 17, 5 years ago. Still miss him.
