www.iwantmyhorseback.comthis poor person had her beloved coloured stallion stolen on the 29th, probably to order. Please keep eyes pealed and watch your own horses, especially coloured horses.

He's a lovely boy, and I know how much his mum is hurting. I will watch sites etc for him. I hope she has contacted the police and HW. She may be as well contacting netposse in America, they put fliers out across the states, he is a prime target being a stallion. Poor horse and poor lady. Fingers crossed for some leads.xx

And a very timely reminder about why we should all check the Stolen Horses Section on this site too. There has been a thread running about this stallion for several days with little traffic...
I hope she finds this horse and soon. He isn't freezemarked and is going to be so valuable to certain elements of society...

horsey 123 I think she may be a bit cross if I ask to do that? I dont know if it would just be too cheeky - Im sure all she is worried about at the moment is her lovely boy. I'll have a think about it. Thanks anyhow.xxxx

Iceberg - you will be looking for her horse, why would she mind helping to look for Toby?
This boy is a bit small for the community we are all thinking of, but I hope he will be found soon anyway.

Now you have me worried for the safety of the one I ride for her daddy. This is her: Does anyone think she could be mistaken for the one stolen? Melissa1787

Best thing to do melissa is get her owner to book a freezmarking session asap if she isnt already done. Also join Horsewatch and get all the other liveries to join as well. If there isnt a local one, you could set one up?
She wont be mistaken for the stolen one, markings are completely different and she is a mare, but if someone did spot her and it wouldnt take long to see it is a case of 'mistaken identity' then good I say, because it shows people are looking. And I for one would rather have that, than no news at all, even though I would be disappointed.xx

Thanks for that iceberg. So helpfull. Yes she is freezmarked and microchipped. Has all labels of freemarked on rugs and on door of stable too. I feel the owner is sensible in that he has done all to protect her. I think I feel more concerned as she is a rescue horse. She now trusts us humans and once did not. I love her too bits.
How do you find out if there is a horsewatch in your area? And if there is not one, how do you set one up?
