Can we offer any help with rehoming or fostering? Can we have a rough list of what is needed? Any help we - EMW - can offer a fellow rescue is thre for the asking. Let us know what we can do. emw

Is it possible for New Arc to set up a paypal type account, so we can all just put donations in like that? Are we most useful donating money if an account can be set up, or posting things? Like duvets or anything like that that has gone in the fire? Or perhaps a thread saying everying needed and anyone who can post something can say and it could be crossed off the list? almost like a wedding list but for a much less happy reason

Thats brilliant, thanks Bj,. I was just off to take a look for it myself so that saved me a little job !
Ok, if anyone wants to make a direct donation to the New Arc - every penny really will make a huge difference to these lovely people. As BJ says, you can:
PAYPAL reference: thenewarc1@aol.com

What an awful thing to happen.
My heart goes out to these wonderful people.
A list of items needed so people can post items is a good idea, but would they arrive quickly enough?

Hi everyone, after a discussion with another New Arc volunteer basically the hard fact of the matter is that there has been a HUGE response from lots of people very kindly donating clothes, bedding, household goods, feed for the animals, etc to which we're EXTREMELY grateful for but the New Arc needs hard cash desperately! There are 2 static caravans at £600 each that need to be paid for up front and the insurance company do not envisage being able to release any funds until after New Year. We totally appreciate all offers of help but money is the main concern at the present time. To clarify the Paypal account address is:
thenewarc1@aol.com
Sorry to be blunt but this is how things stand at the moment. Thank you so much for all your support and good wishes, these are being relayed to Pauline and Keith daily and they are completely overwhelmed.
Hugs SmokeyX

Really easy to make a payment by paypal! Have donated some money. If everyone gives a little - it will add up to a lot (sorry to state the obvious). I hope they get some sort of comfort from the support of all on this and their own site.

Thank you all so very much. I've been blubbing all morning as I'm totally overwhelmed with everyone's generosity. My phone is non stop and Paypal donations and cheques are coming in all the time. Fantastic! HOPEFULLY one of the statics are being delivered today and they've also had 40 bags of chicken feed delivered this morning. My husband has been in touch with a container company who have very kindly offered to supply them with a 20ft container free of charge until the house is sorted out and are even paying for the transport and crane to deliver it. Am just off the phone to Pauline and her speech is a bit better today which is good and she asked me to pass on her and Keith's extreme gratitude to you all. They are totally overwhelmed by everyone who have been helping out over the past few days. So thank you, thank you, thank you and huge hugs to you!

Oops knew there was something else I was going to say. With regards to foster homes thankfully that is not something that is really required as all the other animals are kept in buildings away from the house. The only ones who are struggling a bit at the moment are the house cats and dogs but if the static arrives today that will be them sorted out. Pauline and Keith aren't too keen on the cats and dogs being moved anyway as they don't want to cause them any more stress after the fire but thank you all for your tremendous offers of help with this.
