thanks guys he stands for me to mount then walks on when asked,never dips etc when i get on,stands with his ears up,looking alert i get on from a mounting block,never from the ground. we had a girl who was 10 stone ride him & he took off with her he jogged/napped/reared etc every time she rode him,he has never done annything other than jog with me. he only jogs when out with other horses or on the way home. if he displayed any behavour that he wasnt happy in any way then i wouldnt ride him,as it is hes not being ridden till he gets a new saddle which should be sometime in jan when the fitter has a space. thank you everyone ;D

ps we have lots of problems with feed,he is super fussy about what he eats once he has his saddle fitted & has been back in gental work for a bit we will be getting my ri to restart lessons ;D

I wouldn't want a very heavy rider on it in the poor condition, max 12 stone I think.
