At least the horses were fine! I know, now that I'm sitting with my feet up. I just keep thinking of the sight of Flora on the road without me - I never even saw the other one, he was just too fast. I've finished being p*ss*d off now, I'm just so relieved that she (and the one that I have thought about sending for pet food) is safe!

well there prob is a lesson there for those who dont wear hats ... dont sound like there was much that could have been done otherwise ....
have heard of a situation where a girl out hacking fell off .. she was fine ... however, she was hacking alone and the horse carried on for home .... unfortunately went thru a crossroads and got hit by a car .. rider came running after it to see horse laying on middle of the road

Have just read this. Sorry you had such a horrible fall Stella2. I hope the ankle felt much better this morning . If it didn`t then I guess you are probably now sitting in A&E, in a long, long queue...... Hope you get a new hat for Christmas!

Thanks It was a little better this morning and had a little movement in the joint, so I have just carried on with the ice, elevation and rest (instead of the Xmas eve ride I had planned), I just hope its not the entire two weeks holiday that I'm out of action for! All the good wishes cheered me up though, well those and the chocolate
