Cor well done everyone else, what a clever lot of peeps. I don't have a gcse or anything to my name so have total admiration for you all. Know what you mean Rosanna but just enjoy it. We are on a big yard and I was dying for someone to ask Joy how she did but nobody did and it would have felt like showing off had we gone and told people. We only told a couple of friends we felt would want to know. This is why it's nice I felt able to share the happy news on here. You are like an extended family. Hugs all round to everyone for all acheivements whatever the grades. You are all well ahead of me.Love Shirleynw.

Congratulations to everyone here on your excellent results . I always feel very sad when I hear of young people whose parents make them sell their horses as they approach their exam years so that they can concentrate on their studies. I don't believe that horses and studies are incompatible. Two years ago my daughter got 7 A's and 3 A*'s in her GCSE's despite having a horse, a boyfriend and a part-time job, and has now just got an A and two B's in her A levels. I think that her horse actually helped her through as he is a great stress reliever! Well done to you all for proving that having a horse does not stop you doing well in your exams. ;D
