Hi Louise - yes Bennie was mine. Nikki was going to buy him and then bought a smaller one I think? Didnt realise it was Nikki that had Ketchup - bless him - hows he doing these days? He was a lovely little welsh pony he probably looks great now he has matured. TC

K is great - very cheeky but a wonderful character! Nikki bought an older pony, a been there and done that for the children, Bennie was lovely just a tad too young - us mothers are a protective bunch when it comes to the kids!

Cool - I had Bennie backed and then he was bought by a small riding school and he has been teaching kids to ride ever since. He is apparently a huge favourite and has been since his first day there bless him. I am still in regular contact with them - he loves his 'job' and all the kids love him so he is happy and I am happy. How old is Ketchup now? Is he being ridden as well?

Now 5 I think, and was being ridden, but not at the moment much as Nikki pregnant, I wish I was small enough, but unfortunately not! Nikki's daughter is beginning to ride him a bit more though so hopefully that will take off soon:-)
Bennie would suit that role, he was so friendly:-)

Hi, I'm still around too. I had a lovely Sec D called Baron - one of the chestnut/flaxen Derwen-bred chaps - I remember we compared welshie notes once :-) Do you still breed? I'm not very up to date.

The only thing I miss about the old dg is that its a shame the threads aren't available as 'archive' for reading only

Well, I suppose that applies to me too Haven't been here for ages, since the new members forum got started and everyone went there it got a bit boring. But the new DG looks great! Very professional and much easier to navigate and keep up with!

I'm another oldie been here since Xmas 1999/2000, but really only started posting around 2001 summer time. I preferred the old board in many ways, it was definately easier to 'search' old threads, this one is a nightmare for it so i just don't bother. Perhaps I am not doing it right. I remember Taraco. There are less and less post from the old crowd now though some 'ol faithfuls' remain.
