Hi all I am based in Notts too. I often wonder when I am at local shows if any other dgers are there. I have met Debbie Glennan when she came to our yard to do some work with a friends cob, she is a really nice person and good with the horses

no way, that is my old neck of the woods. Small world. I dont know Shireoaks but know Worksop and round abouts. Still go back there every week/ couple of weeks with work. Not sure what that area is like for riding etc though

I used to know someone at a nice little yard just outside Shireoaks next to the airfield. There are a few yards in the area and the hacking isn't too bad if you're prepared to do a bit of roadwork.

Not bad at all, although having to muck out and put a bed down twice a day at the moment isn't doing it any favours It's miles better than it was though!

Yes, you're right and they did cross graze sheep on the pastures from what I remember which was no bad thing. The entrance onto the road was a bit dodgy too, but I bet none of the horses there are bothered about low flying aircraft ;D

Hi Otto, I keep Sula in Woodborough. We go to Calverton show, but not much as it is not that good, Ripley RC, Lambley and Warren RC. I have only once taken Sula to a show but tend to go with YO as her groom for the day as she always takes her lovely mare show jumping. A meet up would be good. Some nice pubs around

Sam C Here. I'm from North Notts, near the South Notts Hunt kennels. Got my horse from Leicestershire. Hoping to do endurance rides with my spotty this year.
