Hi I have a pony Shandy she is a 13.2h chestnut mare Welsh x. I have had her just under a year. We got off to a rocky start but she is great now. (jowithben DG) posted a couple of pics of Shandy Pants. We are off on holiday to Norfolk with Shandy this Sunday, I hope she enjoys it!

Hi everyone After a break from horses of five years I've just brought a 13.2 arab gelding. Since I was a child it has always been my dream to own an arab so I can't wait for him to arrive! (He's being 'delivered' next week. ;D) However, I do feel a slight intrepidation at the thought of keeping a pony again, especially an unbroken six year old! I've moved to a new area where I've not got any 'horsey' contacts as yet, so I'm hoping this forum will give me support and guidance if / when I encounter problems.

Im Rachel I use to have Willow. A 13.1hh, arab x Welsh. 11years old, chestnut moody mare ;D Got her too bring back into work, nervous, had her jaw broken. She came on leaps and bounds with us. In the end from 3rd day of having her rearing up and nearly going over backwards refusing to hack out we achieved things like this

Thanks Sharon - he is a fantastic horse/pony (i know technically he's a pony but all Icey's are horses, if you know what i mean! ). I've just scrolled back & found yours - he looks like a lot of fun ! Do you do endurance / lots of fun rides ? I'm in Telford. Where abouts in Herefordshire are you ?

Yeah Colwyn is fun, he is 17 now so should be slowing down, he has matured in many ways but is still a scary ride sometimes! Yep we have done lots of endurance and pleasure rides in the past, but not lately This is us on a ride a few years ago in the Forest of Dean, we got a Grade 1 finish ;D I am in Ross-on-Wye
