Ahh, that was a lovely idea for a present. I know how you feel, because my hubby actually sketched Jo for me in secret and wrapped it up for a Xmas surprise a few years back - it was the best present ever!! ;D

Wow thats brilliant I had one done of Meg for my birthday last year, and then when she was diagnosed with Osteomyelitis, the potrait meant so much to me, because if the worst had happend I would have had such a fantastic reminder of her. Luckily she is 100% fine now and her portrait has pride of place on my wall
