Betsy, Heather is probably offering your cat a home. Why don't you get in touch with her via the Enlightened Equitation website? She wants to see some photos.

Hi Izzy,
Great to hear he is getting a lovely home- what a cutie! We took on our old Ginge, from a friend who was getting divorced. Ginge had been a stray who turned up on their farm about 13 years previously, but the house cats wouldnt let him indoors. So he lived all those years in the horse's feed shed, but he hadnt exactly been slumming it- he arrived at my place, with a choice of four beds, a microwave hot water bottle for cats, and a box of 32 trays of Sheba!! We only had him two years, we reckon he was at least 16- 18 years old, but he had two years of comfort in front of the Aga, spoilt rotten by my Stepmum whose lap he commandeered every night, and he is very sadly missed.
Good luck with your new boy and hope he settles quickly,
Heather
