Anybody any experience of PetProtect microchipping company? They want to charge Sophie £20 to update the details of one dog, and a further £20 each year to to keep her registered - or £60 for life. Seems totally excessive. What do you do??

Having helped out a bit with a local dog charity £20 is around the going rate, a lot will depend on the service they offer if your dog is lost, some are much more extensive than others.

I paid £15 to petlog per cat for the premium upgrade so you can change the address details etc unlimited amount of times. I think it was £7.50 to just change the address.
£60 does seem very excessive.

thanks for the reminder, our cats need changed! I (stupidly) didn't realise there was a charge for this. I don't see why your adress matters really if your phone number etc are the same.
