Hector and Hamish - a new chapter. :( update

Some of you may remember the 2 piebald Shetlands my mum and I took on 2 years ago, Hector & Hamish. Well in 2 weeks time they are off to there new home.
When we took them on they were aged 1 & 2 and totally un handled, just been dumped out in a field and left to there own devices. Licey, full of worms and feet in dire need of a trim & total worry warts.
Two years on and they are just the loveliest wee fellows. They are not perfect - yet -but have overcome so many obstacles and I am so proud of them. To think that they once used to tremble in fear when you went into the stable and now they don't even need a head collar on to get there feet trimmed, trot up to you in the field, lead and load and although they are still a little bit worried about some things they will no longer just flee from you.
The time has now come for them to move on, as they are keen and eager to do more and health/time is not permitting that.
They have found a lovely one - together
. The main job is to be companion and Hector will be broken in when he is old enough. There new owner is also keen to dabble in a bit of in hand showing so we will see how they get on with that!
Will be a sad to say goodbye but looking forward to seeing how they progress.
