Hi, nice to see you back.
Know what you mean about puters being slow and moody, mine being no exception.
We have been busy work wise, just landed a large roofing contract in Milton Keynes which should start soon. Teddy Clare's GSD is doing well, goes training on Mond eve, scent training another night and one night at hydro. He has a better social life than me at the minute.
Chloe our Grandaughter has a few probs at the mo that everyone is working their way through. Molly, Clare's 14 yr old cat just got over a respatory problem, but still going strong. Lulu the stray we took in has a large heart murmur, on no medication and seems to be OK. We have a mini shetland pony called Flora as we lost Jack the Shire this year, she is here to keep the companion of Jack, Edna, company, so a companion for a companion. LOL
We lost Bella our Staffie last Fri, she had cancer, was rather quick as she went in for some lumps to be removed, got over the op but suddenly went down hill.
Glad to hear your business is still doing OK and your animals are fine.
Do you still have the slugs in your kitchen and are the neighbours treating you nicely?

Hi Gwennie, still have them slugs, but after yet another complaint to the council they have actually done something.. In June, my gas fire was condemmed so they started to do their updates in the flat, took the back boiler out, put in a new boiler in the kitchen, fitted an electric fire, I kicked up a stink as my house is so cold in the winter I really can't afford to run an electric fire as well as GCH, like other years, so the guy said he'd personally get someone out to test the pipes and radiators, so the gas engineer came out took one look and said, 'I see you've had an upgrade, but they haven't done the radiators?' few weeks later new radiators have been installed.... so, while the poor bloke was under my floor boards fitting new copper pipes etc, he noticed that the underneath was soaking and found plenty of those slimy pests, and slaters on one wall, right in the corner where my TV is. I reported this to the council and he organised a subcontractor to have a look.. he found rising damp maybe around 3ft up the walls... so out comes another sub contractor to deal with the wetness (think swimming pool under floorboards), not only was it wet down there and on my walls, but also the floor boards, my underlay and carpet in that corner... so today builders were back out to remove the plaster and put on a membrane, plasterer is coming tomorrow, and joiners on monday to replace the skirting boards. Then I can redecorate. On a separate note it transpired in August that my rent wasn't right, and complained about that too.. someone didn't do their job right two years ago, and under paid me housing benefit, got a nice tidy sum repaid to me, which has enabled me to now have the cash to redecorate the flat and get a few extra items including my laptop Sorry to hear about Jack and Bella, my friend lost her horse on Tuesday Salem (cat) has kidney disease now, but he's doing ok, he's had his BP checked, and needs a powder on his meat as he won't eat a prescription diet, it's just to support his kidney function. He is 13 now. Tara (dog) is nearly 10 and has burstitis in her right shoulder, and the beginnings of arthritis in her hips, so I've got her on cortaflex, you wouldn't know she was lame without it now.

Bursitis is the infection of the bursae, which are small sacs that contain fluids and are found at joints in various areas of the body. The condition is extremely painful and can also affect the pet’s ability to move. The condition can be treated, but if it becomes chronic, the dog will require surgery.
A bursa is a sac that is filled with liquid and may be located at the joints (i.e. shoulders or knees). The bursae are covered with connective tissue and these sacs reduce the friction between bones and the tendons.
taken from Vet Med
she hasn't had surgery, but she was lame for 6 months, she was xrayed twice and had steroid injections, which didn't work, she was only allowed on lead 10 min walks, and they wanted weight off her - try doing that if she can't exercise... I eventually gave up and ignored the vet and put her on cortaflex, that Salem was on at the time - she was sound within a month and is still sound now, and weighed recently she is now 17kg.
I think it was caused by my other dog that I had who ran full speed into her sideways.... Ooft

Aww Christine, he sounds lovely..
I havent been near a horse for ages, but my niece now has one of my friends horses on a share, so I'm going out to see them on Friday, it's great for her as he's 10mins from her, but it means I have to get a train to hers, so she can pick me up.
He's a lovely 17.2hh ex SJ, and 20yrs old, she's a novicy averagey rider, but has some experience of sharing so not totally novice... it's her birthday soon, so her mum and I are buying her some books, (I've got her Heather's book, and sister is going to get her one of Kelly's)
