I belong to a group on FB that has one rule anything you offer has to be for free, no money involved at all..........theres quite a few of us from all backgrounds but we share the same BB postcode. At weekend a message was psoted from a yougn woman who had had a break in at her house, all the stuff for her upcoming wedding had been trashed, what the burglars didn't steal they wrecked.........the young woman and her OH to be had been saving hard for 3 years for the wedding, nothing flashy or expensive, just a happy day with their nearest and dearest. They couldn't afford to begin to replace a fraction of the stuff wrecked or destroyed or stolen, so a kind neighbour took matters into her own hands and put put a post asking for help towards their wedding, not money but a wedding dress, grooms suit, flowers (hers had been silk one) in fact everything I was quite surprised to find people have rallied round and offered her loads of things from dresses to a reception at a local function suite...........she was going to have a quiet reception at home, just 20 people and the owners of the suite have offered her a full reception for 50 day guests and an evening do for 100 with food and dj as well someone else has offered to take photographs, another person has placed his vintage car at her disposal make up and hair done, in fact everything........really made me feel quite warm inside to know that there are still good people in this world who are willing to help a complete stranger.

What a lovely story. Shame there are those low-lifes who put them in that situation in the first place, but it sounds like their day will be extra special thanks to all the big-hearted people in your group. What wonderful people they all are

What a rotten thing to do, but sounds like they will have a lovely day thanks to your public spirited group. What a wonderful thing to do for them.
