I have just googled - Shingles Symptoms NHS Choices and from what I have read it certainly looks possible, V.
They do say you should see the doctor a.s.a.p. to prevent complications later on too. Hope you are OK. XXX

Does sound possible though, but I hope it isn't. Fingers crossed it's just fatigue, a trapped nerve and heat blisters!

I had shingles last year, on my mouth - all along one gum, and it was so painful that I had to have a perfectly healthy tooth out in order to interrupt the affected nerve. The most obvious symptom is usually excruciating pain along the course of a nerve, it's not a shooting pain, but a really constant and severe agony. The rash usually appears along the line of the nerve after a few days. Treatment is anti viral meds and tramadol, as that is a painkiller that affects nerves.
