You have the option in the listing to only sell in the UK then your item will not be seen anywhere else. For really cheap items ebay is hardly worth the effort after the fees are taken out and unless you wait for free listing you will pay listing fees if the items don't sell. If you offer free p&p your starting bid needs to reflect that cost, so just as well have a charge for p&p so you know it is covered whatever the selling price - people often put p&p higher for cheap items so there is a bit of profit there.

Have u started selling Sent from my GT-I8160 no, I'm still thinking about it. I need to get properly organised first. I've decided I need to take photos, package the item up, weigh it and work out the postage, before thinking about advertising anything for sale.

Are you on Facebook? If so, there tends to be groups for items for sale in... [your area] where I've sold a few things. They tend to go in minutes if you're not charging much.
