I'm guessing it's not just making sure the food is clean and that you're clean to eat it. lol
No, what I've found is that basically you eat organic stuff without eating processed stuff. Am I about right on that? Anyone tried it/do it? How easy is it?

It just seems to be about cutting out processed foods and preparing meals from basic ingredients - pretty much what we do normally.

No sugar. No caffeine. Fewer white carbs. Nothing processed. Low salt.
The hardest part is no sugar: it's in so much!

My friend does this, she gets quite fanatical about it. She has no willpower to have these things in moderation though, and an extremely slow metabolism, so it's all or nothing for her and she's found it the best way to keep her weight under control. I on the other hand annoy her intensely as I have a fast metabolism, eat everything in moderation and exercise a lot, so don't struggle with my weight. Having said that, I will be looking to lose baby weight in the summer so I may have a different view then!

I do think it has to be more than coincidence that the obesity epidemic started at around the time convenience and processed food began to be widely available. I have tried to cut out as much processed stuff as possible and take my specs to the supermarket and read the ingredients lists on labels - how sad it that? But it has made a difference to my weight, and at my advancing years excess gets harder and harder to shift. I am lucky in that I have the time to cook, and with the Rayburn being lit most days, the oven capacity. I did hear that we only really need meat every few days so I eat a lot of fruit and veg (well washed of course, don't want to avoid the cr*p IN food only to consume it ON food )

Very true that processed foods have contributed to obesity, along with a more sedentary lifestyle especially in childhood....

Im doing (paying for) Scottish Slimmers, but have been on it for about two months and put on more than i've lost.. last week I started eating the Slimming World way, kind of intergrating the two and lost 3lbs in one go... I will do it again this week to make sure it wasn't a fluke
