Does anyone have any useful suggestions ? I am totally shattered all the time. Granted Arthur is just over 5 months old but he is sleeping pretty well Over night but I still feel exhausted constantly. Which means I eat rubbish for a quick energy boost which in the long run makes me feel worse. I Drink plenty and eat reasonable well other than my quick pick me ups.
I take day vitamin and mineral supplements but yey I just feel pooped. Ideas ??

Get your thyroid checked. I have two friends who had perfectly normal thyroid function before having children and it went haywire after. Mine was haywire to begin with and breast feeding mucked it up further. Its treatable with some tablets from gp, worth checking as fatigue is one of main symptoms. Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards

It may be at your iron levels are low too, my midwife friend suggested a tonic after it had my last child, bother! Can't remember the name of it now ....Flav something, it was the health food shop and some chemists (I'll check and come back with the name of it for you) it's an easily digested straight into your system (non constipating) way of getting some good iron and minerals in you.

Hiya,
Not to be too nosy, but are you breast feeding your little one? My twins are now 8 months and I have cut down to only bf in the morning now and surprisingly I actually have more energy...... When they were 5 months I think I was at my lowest energy wise because they were draining me I am sure of it, and I was just eating utter rubbish daily - I actually put weight on!
Also, sounds very strange, but if you can, try and exercise! I have started running again in the evenings when hubby is home to have the girls, I love it and although I cannot run for more than about 8mins in one go (which is uber depressing seen as I've run half marathons!!) I am getting there slowly and I do feel like I have more energy now. Its taken me 8 months though to sort it out. I am still a stone heaver than when I fell pregnant (and I was at my biggest then!) so not ideal at all!!
I hope you feel better soon.
