Not much time left for shopping... Stress is building... time to get the cook books out, how are you going to dress your birds/joints??

Turkey will get stuffed with mum's homemade apricot stuffing, wrapped with bacon, when spit roast on the braai. It is amazing and a little surreal to get the waft of barbecued turkey in Aberdeen on Christmas Day. My dad always tells people if you marry a South African, you have to braai every month of the year so it's in the contract  . We'll be facebooking with the family in SA so it's always good to get a bit or snow or heavy frost in the Christmas braai pics our end. |
