Thank you PB.
Am off to ride the pair of them now. The Suffolk and the crazy cob!
Haven't ridden recently due to weather. Also seeing as last time I rode cobba he tried to get me off under a tree branch! Xx

Have you tried meditation? I don't mean when you are riding (lol) but in your daily life.

Maybe try focusing on little schooling exercises: stop by a particular lamp post, get a really active walk and then a really slow one. Leg yield to avoid drains or go around cars. Distract both you and the horse! I kept over-thinking my jumping position, so my instructor got me counting my canter strides out loud up to, over and after the jump - it distracted my over-active mind and helped keep me with the rhythmn! Going to try this with my jumping! I'm terrible at over analysing!! Thanks x

The singing really worked and I've passed that on to SarahB who is also on here as she owns the horses I share.
We unfortunately lost King, the cob, a few weeks ago now, hence me not replying as I've not really felt up to it.
But I will be putting all of this info towards the big lad and my new shire who is arriving Monday hopefully.
Thankyou to everyone. X
