I have been stewing over this for a long time now and finally decided to rehome him but cant stop crying abt it? I think its guilt cos I dont do giving up on animals the most I have ever given away are a few gold fish but I know its the rite thing to do Think of it from an outsiders point of view, a muzzle in the car, or in a cage all the time is no life for any dog never mind a husky... If Gwen or Jen can put you in touch with somebody that has the experience for him then all round its going to be an ideal situation. It sounds like the dog has never had the right home from the word go. Some breeds are not good pets and huskies in IMO do not make ideal pets for everyone. You shouldn't feel guilty, sounds liek you might be the first person who is doing the right thing by the dog.

Have heard from my friend and unfortunately she cannot take on another one, but she has suggested that you contact the Scottish Siberian Huskie Club, welfare section and there is a UK one too, Sue Jones on 08712776783, if you cannot make contact with that person then the secretary was Karen Roberts on 01785603520, these people numbers are for the UK. The UK Huskie club does not take anything other than full pedigree huskies in for rescue though, but the Scottish one may be different. If you dont make any headway with any of the above then come back to me and friend will give me some more contacts for you. She did say that the UK based group usually fostered then always vet homes and families so that they have the best match possible for a forever home.
By the way he is a Piebald Huskie. I have mentioned all you wrote about him and friend says, 'He is a Huskie and behaving like a Huskie.' LOL
Hopefully Jen will be able to come up with something for you as well.

this is on face book
This is Nigel Griffiths.. hes currently trying to buy or take on a rescue husky. He has tried ingratiating himself with husky rescue group SASD and has bragged about breaking a dogs leg... needless to say he will not get a dog from them... please share to stop him getting any dog which he could potentially harm
