Some of you might remember Murphy the Siberian Husky I bought from my brother a year ago. This is Murphys 7th home my brother only had him 2 weeksand Im told ine of his homes lasted 4 days I got him seriously under weight having a lot of problems with his stomach everything he ate went rite through him however after hes over it he has put on lots of weight and can eat most doggy treats etc and has chilled out a lot he was a complete riot he did the toilet all over the house, chewed everything, jumped all over the furniture and listened to no one he stole food off worktops iif he was left for 2 mins alone but hes over most of it hes 100 times better but I have to now admit defeat hes killed 2 of my rabbits one he got hold of cos someone came in drunk and opened a door not realising what was in there and another he barked at while we were out till it died of stress Iv tried to give it another go but Im at the stage now I never want another dog as long as I live. We have 7 horses and the dog isnt allowed on the yard so now I have moved into my new house he will hav to be in a cage or in the car muzzles cos he eats seat belts. I will not give this dog to just anyone he has been tbrough a lot and I cant have him going to home 9, 10, 11 etc if u have huskies and are prepared to walk a lot or work him in a scooter and abdolutely know what u are taking on as theze are high energy dogs that you CANNOT let off the lead they cast lots of white hair most of the year he must be caged if left alone for any period of time as he will get bored and chew. On the plus side he is a very friendly affectionate and playfull dog who is great with kids they dont have the typical doggy smell so he has his plus points but its not working out here. Hes very unusual looking hes almost white except a 2 patches on his face and 2 on his body with brown eyes hes a gorgeous dog hes only 2 so I think Im better to re home him now rather than when hes older. If u are 100% sure u can give this boy a forever home and the time he needs please get in contact. Dawn x

Anyone interested is welcome to.come and meet him before deciding Im happy to bring him to you if u want pics pm me. He has his cage, bowls, lead, collars, toys and treats I just cant stress enough that this isnt like taking on a lab you must know what u are doing with huskies dont think any dog is trainable he will be able to be taught re call as he has been trained but if distracted hes off as are all huskies he will be great off the lead for months then one day hes gone for hours with no road sense and will chase and kill cats and other small animals as he goes this is true for most huskies not just him

There are rescues but rescues re home to anyone and put dogs down Im willing to keep him till the perfect home is found I do love him and feel awful but its just too much for me long term so would rather re home him while hes young x

Breed rescues often dont have kennels so the dog would probably stay with you until a sutable home was found. Also I wouldnt think they rehome to anybody, my mum was rejected from several big charities because she works part time...

Aw nice 1. that sounds gd but I think Id rather find a home myself someone with experience of huskies Ideally someone who would work him I think he would enjoy that. I think something should be done to stop clueless ppl breeding and selling them tbh properly looked after pitbulls are a far more suitable pet x

Is he castrated, Sned and does he get on with other dogs?
The reason I am asking is I know someone who used to rescue Huskies, she still has 3, I think and not sure if she would consider another, but I could ask. She is in Lincolnshire though, not sure how far that would be from you and also not sure if she would work him. I know she used to work her huskies and still has all the gear, but I could ask if you like.

Yes hes castrated hes very hyper when he 1st meets a new dog and is all over them he usually slaps them on the head but he settles and Iv never known him to attack another dog hes pinned a few on the floor at first with his paws but thats it. Working him isnt essential as long as she knows what she is dealing with and distance isnt a big deal if hes going to be happy xxx

Hi, Sned. My friend is not there at the mo, but spoke to her husband and he will get her to give me a bell tomorrow hopefully. They have had Huskies for 30 years and if they cannot help themselves will most likely be able to put you in touch with someone who can. Will come back when she has been in contact with me. XX

Wow 30 yrs! That sounds perfect!! Really appreciate this I feel awful about sending him onto home number 8 but as much as Iv tried we are never going to be happy together I know he loves me and I love him too and Id rather plod on and just grin and bare than send him somewhere unsuitable but I have decided that if I can get the rite home for him I need to do whats best for us both cos Im getting stressed and hes gonna end up spending most of his day in a car muzzled soon Thank u so much hopefully she is interested xx
