That's really good news Cheekychops, and hopefully he's feeling a lot more comfortable now. Hope you continue to make good progress with him and are soon back on track ;D

That is good news, always so helpful if you can find a reason behind unexpected behaviour.
Can you get some good lessons on him when you start riding him again? The better and more secure your riding, and the more confidence in your ability you have, the better you will cope if he does ever get buzzy again. I'm a huge fan of Mary Wanless and her 'Ride with your Mind' methods, which I think you'd find helpful on many levels - developing your core strength for one. There are several RWYM trainers around nowadays, you might find a local one on the website. MW has written some wonderful books too - can thoroughly recommend 'For the Good of the Rider' which is totally inspirational. Good luck, and keep us posted. xx

I have a really great instructor but she's been unwell and out of action so we haven't had regular lessons since October. I hope she will be well enough to resume in the new year! I am also reading "Cobs Can" by Omar Rabia - a very welcome xmas present! Top tip: "Remember, if you put pressure down through the reins, then all you will get back from your cob is pressure doubled". Hmm, say no more!
