I took delivery of my flexigirth that OH had ordered and I am very pleased. It has stopped my holsitic treeless slipping and I can even now mount form the ground without doing some interesting speed gymnastic move that I seem to have developed without knowing. Sudden tight turns or spooks at speed( 90degrees plus)don't see me righting my saddle by standing in one stirrup or the other any longer. I really didn't realise just how much I had got used to a bit of slippage until it now just doesn't happen. I hope I don't lose the balance that I had developed now that my saddle doesn't slip under centifugal force!!

I rode Henry in his Torsion on Tuesday and when I tried to mount from the ground (whilst out) we ended up with the saddle under his belly, had to walk home!

Thats interesting, thanks Amanda, I have been searching for another girth for our SoftTree saddles, to be able to recommend that is cheaper than the Professionals Choice. One of my agents, Lou Nagle has been testing the Flexigirth and finding the same as you.

I love my Flexigirth ... look at getting another as well. Coby goes well in it. I tried a couple of different ones (Including a Professionals Choice) and he didn`t like them and played up, i put the Flexi back on, and he was fine again

I first posted about Flexigirths after finding them online during one of my mammoth insomnia bouts in 2008/9. At the time everyone was put off by the video ;D The product itself is good regardless

Oberon - funny how things come round in circles
had never noticed the video - not great. Poor horsey with that lump bouncing about. It did show the girth working though. I notice there is a bit of a disclaimer a the top saying that the video is a bit extreme and not to do this at home and not to mount from the ground all the while.

Oh yes the video shows the girth working very well and I'm sure it's a great product. I'd have to film a new video if it was my product though. Don't mean to scupper your thread, I was just surprized and disappointed by the video for non girth related reasons.
