I love my Donkeys ;D Tonight we took them to the small shopping area where my OH has his shop for a carol singing walk round and then carols outside the local homeless place that is ran completely by charity. Over 50 people turned out and both boys behaved impeccably with all the pats and cuddles ;D They haven't loaded at all since we moved yards 6 months ago but both walked straight on both ways with the help of a bucket of nuts. They had to cross a busy road at traffic light at rush hour with a double decker bus stopped and they were as calm as anything They then stayed in the lorry loose for over an hour with partition swung round so they had a stable size area with a net of hay while we had dinner and when we returned Chomper was led down asleep ;D This was there 1st proper outing ever... Chomper has never been anywhere ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D They were absolutely brillant ;D ;D ;D ;D Photos will follow over the next couple of day ;D

I love donks too, unfortunately Blaze is utterly terrified of them, strange as she is fine with sheep, cattle, pigs and llamas! And 100% bomproof in all other situations. Other than those which involve donkeys ;D She shakes from head to foot and does these amazing cracking snorts and will take off if I don't seriously hang on! Then she will 'passage' past them (lovely feeling for me, obviously no fun for her ) I really need to borrow a donkey for next summer to de sensitise her. But I think I would fall in love and not want to give it back

Oh horsefeed..... how's utterly wonderful and what a lovely gesture for folk to see and come and love your donkeys....ahhhhh,...sounds like they thoroughly enjoyed their little 'festive christmas outing'..! Bet the carol singers will be talking about this for a long time to come... "The Day the Donkeys came Carol Singing".... ahhhh...
