tell me Natty... at least this one is being given an opportunity, many are just shot as owners are unable/unwilling to keep them in training until the right home comes along. I am beginning to think, to be honest that there are not any right homes at the moment. Loads are being passed around local sales and bought by kids trying to deal on the side, kept in unsuitable conditions and sold misrepresented to unsuitable novice homes.

I do agree that they are being given an opportunity but with this time of year and the recession the free prob has more chance of being taken to sell for meat than in a long term loving home. At least the other has a price and is cheap for someone who will offer a long term home, but there are still a lot of people trying to make money from horses and when it doesn't happen that's when they get neglected so I am glad their are people who is determined to get them a home rather than neglect them
