www.petsitting-derbyshire.com/Pictures-This was last year but just want to ask you how you got my dog to pose in your pics Lizpurlo, your 4th pic, poking out behind the chestnuts bum, second pic on my link:) Just muddy and wet in our part of derbyshire at the moment, although Buxton has had quite a lot. I did prefer last years white to this years brown.

We haven't any snow but had awful hail about 1cm diameter and very high winds. I have lost part of my barn roof!! Side ways big hail - not fun - in fact we were out in it and it was painful! Much prefer pretty snow!

Barbararob, your collie is very like mine! I had a classic tri-coloured collie till last January when I lost her due to old age - four days later we went back to the dogs home and picked this one - she looked such a funny little scrap compared with my handsome old girl, especially as she's white with black splodges, but she is utterly adorable. I just love collies, will never have anything else now.
Bloomin' snow - I zipped down the town at 3.30 to do supermarket and feed merchant - came out of supermarket at 4.30, into a blizzard. I had hell's own job to get home - it's only just over three miles, but is all uphill - I was doing fine till I got to the last and steepest bit, and two lorries had got stuck - got past the first, but had to stop on the hill behind the second - and had an awful job trying to get started again and past the lorry - was terrified I was going to bump my beloved Focus. Thank you, Universe, for winter tyres.

That's scary. I'm at the bottom of a valley, steep windy hill which ever way I go, and the sun doesnt get high enough to melt them. Was trapped for weeks last winter and had a few very scary moments. Thankfully it's not so bad this year. January will be worse apparently..... A livery got stuck here 2 years ago and ended up staying for Xmas dinner until rescue came lol Be safe!
