Took me half the time to muck dirty McGyver out, and actually left some bed in, in fact hardly removed anything. It hadn't been kicked around so no bald patch in the middle!! I must admit they are not as aesthetic as shavings or straw but hey, I'm not complaining if they save me time & money! Not looking to fill Nancy's stable though, hers is 19ft by 10ft . Think I will look into your shavings company Helen, bigger bags for less money

I used Liverpool wood pellets. I pay £215 for a tonne so £3.25 a 15kg bag. I love them much easier than shavings. I use a future fork with mine
